To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yeah, I thought the "not amused" bit was embarassing. Stop. Stop. No, really, stop.

ETA: I really wanna see Rose ask the Doctor why people keep asking her about wolves.

Doctor Who: I loved it for David Tennant getting to use his Scottish accent, and the introduction of Torchwood. Captain Jack! Yay!

I am so with you, Jars.

Our wings are not tired.

I watched basketball and missed MamMoth. Sounds like I need to catch a reshowing.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I thought Dr Who 2x2 was solid, although the silliness is starting to wear thin.

So last week it was evil nuns and this week it was evil priests and next week it's an evil boarding school.

RTD doesn't have Daddy issues like Joss, he's got a different set of issues entirely.

ETA: Happy Birthday Betsy!

If I only had a brain...

Thank you, Tom! It was.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

MamMoth was cheezy fun, with a script witty enough, and a cast talented enough to make up for plain bad SFX and a director who needed more practice.

Yep - I always like Tom Skerritt, and seeing Vincent Ventresca be a total goofball was fun. Little cutie. Cheesy fun.

Dr. Who: The most exciting part for me was the preview for the next show, because GILES!!! I did not know we were going to get ASH. Rock .

I liked Robert. I did have to laugh at the "I'll buy you time..." bit. Yeah, my trusty sword and I will protect you from the giant, super strong, man-eating wolf-thing. Though, I supposed the time it took to rip him to shreds did actually buy them some time. Maybe that's what he meant. Poor Robert .
