A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

"Christmas at Doctor Who's"
Their David Tennant is, unfortunately, rather terrible, but they didn't have a lot to go on at this point (the Dead Ringers Special aired before the Christmas Invasion).
Jon Cullum's Tom Baker is so good, I believe he's actually done some audiobooks and stuff as the Doctor.
Strega, that's kind of awesome. *g*
I got the "Christmas at Doctor Who's" as an "extra" from the lovely person who made my "Christmas Invasion" dvd.
Strega -- how funny! Now you MUST see that episode. (And Supernatural is a tv show that has been improving over the season.)
So much was explained when I realized that of the 3 episodes that I'd really loved in the first season, 2 were by Moore.
Huh.
t goes off to check
Ron Moore wrote "Pick A Number"? (That would be the one with the poor Dora Mae and the miners.) Oooh. That was probably one of the most viscerally upsetting hours of TV I've ever seen. I still can't think of that last bit without breaking into a full shudder.

That's how it felt to me. "Pick a Number" was more than chilling.
I learned from my flist today (could be old news, but what the hell) that Katee Sackhoff and Nathan Fillion will be starring in a movie together - White Noise2: The Light.
Also, an interview with Katee Sackhoff on KUFO in Portland that has some funny bits. Be warned, it is a bit spoilery: [link]

Oh, hell yeah. Brilliant, brilliant - yet disturbing - stuff.
sumi, yeah, every week I really do intend to watch it, but then I get distracted. I usually remember to turn Survivor on halfway through, so I'll try to make a note to change channels afterwards this week.
Finally got to "Dalek," which was much better. Except for the score.
And I remembered to watch "Supernatural." Which makes me happier because I don't expect it to be good. I was a bit sad that the boys are wearing less mascara these days, though. I learned that, as if they aren't evil enough, vampires always drive with their highbeams on. Jerks.
Well, they are evil.
(Perhaps that was to blind on-coming traffic for easier snacking?)
