Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

he's completely unable to disengage from stupid conversations.

Sounds like a Buffista spirit baby.

Said with fondness and self-recognition, people.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh yeah. I rewatched that episode, and I was all sad through that conversation, because I knew Chatty!Redshirt!Pilot was D O O M E D.

(Were I more bloody-minded, I'd start counting up the number of people who've died in the presence of McKay, as well as the number that have died because of his actions, directly and indirectly.

ita, I just learned something about that Supernatural episode you mentioned with the witch. The episode was by Dan Knauf, who did Carnivale. And the name was not a coincidence. I don't think he liked my recaps.

Too funny. Now I really must see that episode. Tee hee.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, if he'd wanted more flattering recaps he should have seen to it that the show improved rather than declined over time. Keeping Ron Moore onboard would have been a good start.

Strega - Apr 17, 2006 6:55:51 pm PDT #8261 of 10001

So much was explained when I realized that of the 3 episodes that I'd really loved in the first season, 2 were by Moore.

To be fair, I'm not exactly thrilled with those recaps myself, but that show was so damn hard to talk about. All that staring!

All is well that ends in pizza.

After seeing the Doctor Who screencaps above, i am left with only one conclusion;

New Doctor = Jarvis Cocker

That reminds me of "Dead Ringer's Christmas Special" which featured a short sketch called "Christmas at Doctor Who's"

Here is the sketch in AVI format: [link]

Here is the sketch in wav: [link]

I edited them down from the large file they had at the BBC of the whole ep.

I'll delete the files from my website in a couple of weeks, each one is 12 mb and 13 mb respectivly.

Hilarious for longtime Whovians.

Oh, Strega! That's marvellous!

"Christmas at Doctor Who's"

Their David Tennant is, unfortunately, rather terrible, but they didn't have a lot to go on at this point (the Dead Ringers Special aired before the Christmas Invasion).

Jon Cullum's Tom Baker is so good, I believe he's actually done some audiobooks and stuff as the Doctor.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Strega, that's kind of awesome. *g*

Art Crawl!!!

I got the "Christmas at Doctor Who's" as an "extra" from the lovely person who made my "Christmas Invasion" dvd.

Strega -- how funny! Now you MUST see that episode. (And Supernatural is a tv show that has been improving over the season.)
