Well, can anybody comment?
Surprisingly, to me, I thought the best thing was Billie's acting (and I never thought I'd be saying that).
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Oh. My. God. I'm a CHAV!!"
Bwahahahahaha!
Stupid whitefont! I wanna read you, NOW! but I'm being good. Not clicking on spoiler-cuts on LJ either.
New New Who rocks, too. Plus? Lots more fanfic potential.
Chavtastic!
I thought the plot was weak, but the character moments good, although I cringed at how shippy Rose was being at the start. First date, indeed.
I thought the plot was very weak, too. And the kiss was *total* fanservice, and speaking as a fan, I've had better service.
I just watched the newest Who. I liked it the plot and some of the effects were cheesy but they were cheesy in a Dr Who kind of way. I liked Tennant, and loved Rose as Cassandra. Ick on the "first date" thing. I do hope they start going to other planets, I liked the first season, but going to different planets and having adventures is part of the show. Okay, it didn't happen in the Pertwee years, but those episodes weren't as fun.
Pertwee is the Best. Doctor. Evah.
Okay, okay, Eccleston is good, too.
Tom Baker is my favorite, more because he's the one I've seen the most of than anything else.
Dad's seen some of the new episodes and has decided he doesn't like Eccleston. He thinks that Eccleston, but I don't think he's given Eccleston a fair shot. Dad hasn't seen very many but mostly his tv is old and the sound is failing the background noise is really loud and you can't really hear the actors (and his tv is so old there's no closed captioning...is Doctor Who closed captioned?) so I think it's hard for him to make a judgement. His main complaint is Eccleston smiles too much.
Eccleston's smile is a bit unsettling. It's too quick. He's not smiling for you.
