OK, the producers of Atlantis are going to have a difficult sell trying to convince me nothing slashy is intended in the way of McShep with Torri Higginson and Rachael Luttrell giggling about McKay being jealous of Omnipotent!Barbie on the "Sanctuary" commentary. I just bought the Doctor Who script book. It's not as spectacular as a Buffy script book, but it's well worth having, with the usual snippets of dialogue that never made it to the screen. I admit, I miss Joss's stage directions; Davies's are more businesslike.

I just have to delurk to share some SG1 watching stuff, since nobody in my RL has any interest.
I've been working my way through every season of SG1 since December or thereabouts. I confess I got interested with the whole Ben Browder thing, and then enjoyed season 1 enough to carry on.
So last night I watched Season 7 Heroes. So very broken now. Damn them. Once the key moments happened I remembered reading the discussion here about it. I mean, I knew that Fraser was going to die this season. I figured out in Heroes Part 1 that it was probably going to happen pretty soon. (Fraser being all flirty and date-getting with the journalist guy? so doomed). But I still fell for the O'Neil fake-out - for a little while, anyway. And then once I realized I just started crying and couldn't stop. DAMN them.
In other S 7 news, re Lost City: Who the hell is that? That is not Elizabeth Weir. (I've watched the s1 DVD of SGA and random s2 episodes. I like Torri Higginson). Don't know what happened to change that casting, but I'm glad for it.
Will be picking up s8 SG1 today. Anyone know when the s9 DVD's are going to be coming out? (I managed to catch the last 4 or 5 episodes on TV. Bouncing back and forth between Browder and RDA was giving me whiplash, though. I want to see the begining of the season).
ETA (and overexplain because I'm a dweeb): I "fell for" the O'Neill fakeout in the sense of thinking it was really really bad for him but there would be some miraculous save, since I'm not a moron and do realize he is still making appearances on the show and stuff.
