Junkie!Lana amuses me.
So, they basically ripped off Flatliners, huh? Oh, Kryptonite, is there anything you can't do?
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

It can't make me care about SV anymore. Unless it kills off Lana in a real and permanent fashion. Then I'll take it to dinner and let it order from the pricey side of the menu.
Oh, yes -- the Lana storyline was Flatliners with meteor rock.

you know, I thought that the trailer looked a little familiar.
Huh. No comments on last night's Doctor Who?
Well, personally, I loved it--much better than the first half (too much farting aliens in that one for my taste). I think that Harriet Jones is one of the better one-episode locals that the Doctor has ever met! When we first met her, she was totally believable as an earnest "backbencher," but by the end, she had really stepped up and showed her capabilities. My favorite exchange was when the Doctor was busted by the Slytheen about his bluff with the brandy:
"Have a drink!"
"You pass to the left."
"Right. Rose?"
Heee!
Aside from all the fun at #10, I really loved Jackie and Mickey in this ep. Jackie was great as the loving mum who just wanted to be assured her daughter was safe, and Mickey, he became a completely different guy than we first met in "Rose"--I finally see what Rose saw in him to begin with! As for his admission that he didn't have the guts to join them in the TARDIS, that fit, as well.
Probably my favorite episode so far.
Things start getting darker now....
I'm curious about how they advertised next week's episode.
I'm thinking that it's right about now next week that the first episode of the SECOND season of the new Dr. Who is on BBC1. DST may be throwing off my calculations.
Probably my favorite episode so far.

Taunters.
Yes, I really loved both the Doctor's silence when Jackie asked if he could promise to keep her daughter safe, and his telling Rose that he'd kept Mickey off the TARDIS.
And, yes, Harriet Jones rocks.
I'd never watched any Doctor Who before, and I'm loving this one so much I think I'm going to cry when we get a new Doctor, all too soon. Don't they usually hang about a little longer than this?
