Which made me think -- didn't they establish that when one of the human-form Cylons dies, their essence/memories get transported to the nearest copy of that model?
I thought that when a Cylon died its essence got transfered to a new Cylon body, not an existing one.
But I disremember - was it that their memories, etc got transfered electronicly (or through some existing technology), or was it some sort of spiritual thing? Because if it's the latter, it could be a belief that's not true (as we've never actually
seen
evidence that it happens).
I don't know whether its an electronic thing or a spiritual thing. It could be that the electronic thing inspired the spiritual belief.
I've been wondering what is going to happen when Starbuck and Helo bring Caprica!Boomer back to Galactica, because I can't imagine that Helo would leave without her. . . do we think that Starbuck would leave w/o Helo? Assuming there is enough room in her ship?

Well, Caprica!Boomer ran away, so I'm thinking they'll probably leave without her. Perhaps the Cylons will bring her to Kobol to have her baby?
Although having two Cylon Boomers on Galactica could be fun....
So is silicon heaven the same place as human heaven?
Human heaven? Humans don't have a heaven. Someone just made that up to stop you from going nuts.
My impression was that the Cylons' reincarnation was a fact of engineering, not a religious belief. (Even though it's clearly been integrated into their religion.)

I had to wonder about Helo's reaction to this. "No, don't shoot her! She's pregnant!"
So...he believes her? I mean, she obviously is, given that this is TV, but still. And if he believes her, that means he must protect her?

Well, she was goin' for pukies earlier, so I can see him believing.
And if he believes her, that means he must protect her?
It's his manly duty. Of course, he's probably gonna be telling all his buddies: "Dude! I knocked up a Cylon babe!"
Or that he hasn't made up his mind. Perhaps he's just so freaked out by the whole "Sharon is a bot" thing that he just isn't thinking straight.
I think Helo's under more than enough stress right now not to be thinking too clearly. He's reacting purely on instinct/emotion.
Hmph. Okay, I'll buy that. For now.
