Who is the actor? He looks very familiar?
It's odd to have had this happen to Callie by the Chief and have nobody familiar comment on it -- I guess because they're either heading to Caprica or with Apollo exploring the new planet.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

They were planning to attack & steal a Raider when Starbuck got caught. So yeah, we didn't see how Boomer got the Raider, if it was on her own or if they went ahead with the original plan.
They've done two things I asked for! With the "maybe I'm a Cylon" and the "jumping inside something else"! My precog abilities are back. Yay!
The "Bitch took my ride" Sharon we never saw again, then, right?
No, that's the one who was pregnant. And is now with the Caprican raiding party.
Oooh, that one. I can't keep track of all the Sharons. The "Bitch took my ride" Sharon we never saw again, then, right?
They're the same Sharon. Preggers!Sharon.
Gawd, the president is quoting Reagan (during the Reagan/Carter debate).
eta: Preggers!Sharon x-post.

Dean Stockwell.
to be continued....
huh. Guess I gotta watch next week....
Buh. I totally thought there was another act left.

Yeah, the teaser was act-length this episode.
I didn't think there was another act left, but the ending (eta: that it ended when it did) took me by surprise....
I did notice the teaser being incredibly long, but was still surprised when it ended. Because I'm forgetful.
I would have liked it if Baltar (or Roslin, but for plot purposes Baltar would have worked better) had voiced the option of splitting the fleet. Put a colony on the new planet, and continue looking for Earth. That would have made more sense than the all-or-nothing option, and you could see the appeal of the idea while also recognizing that it was a Bad Idea. And similarly, when Roslin went on about how the Cylons might already know about the new planet, I think Baltar should have pointed out that the Cylons might already know where Earth is, too. And/or that there was no guarantee that it was a safe haven.
So, yeah. The debate part bugged a few times. Oh, but I did catch the Reagan line, and giggled.
Overall it didn't knock me on my ass the way I kinda expected, but I hope/expect that next week's will. Mostly because this one felt so much like set-up.

Which one was Reagan? I caught the Bush culture of fear references, myself.

That's how I felt too.

Let's see if this jogs your memory: "Sam! Ziggy!"
I loves me some Quantum Leap...
This ep was definitely set up for next week, but I liked it. Loved Baltar's total cluelessness when it comes to political opportunity! Even Chip-Six is getting really tired of his ineptitude in that arena, which is interesting if she's only a manifestation of part of him, because that means he's getting tired of it too, and might decide to do some fast learning in the near future.
