I agree -- icky and too rhyming.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I was kind of pleasantly surprised by the frisson between Lee and Dee way back during that training scene. Since then, every time the show goes there, it's random and forced. Bums me out. So, the big traingle showdown did nothing for me. And now there's no Billy! I hope I see that actor on my screen again soon.
Jen, I was thinking the same thing -- there was that random chemistry between them in the sparring scene but in their other scenes, it's just not there.

Exactly. this.
I wish they would just forget this entire plotline. Personally, I think the training scene worked due to good directing or something but there's no spark between those two. Plus, and this is my military background flaring up, it bothers me that an officer is openly dating an enlisted person. It wasn't okay for Boomer and Chief, why would it be okay now?
IIRC, the trick w/dS is to get the US versions of S1/S2 (probably the WalMart boxed set--I got mine unboxed at Best Buy), and the Canadian versions of S3/S4, as the US versions are really, really crappy
Did anyone think they were purposly misleading the auidence with the last scene with Sharon?
I dislike the Lee and Dee thing because it seems so random. And because you were supposed to rooting for her and Billy until this weeks and the training scene's monkey wrench. I liked Billy.
Probably, given the Moore's position that the show presents issues, but doesn't really hand you solutions, they're not wanting us all to be rooting for the same 'ships, which is a very BSG take on it, but not the most satisfying, IMO
I just like things to make sense and I don't care really about the ships, but if you want me to care, then show me instead of force me.
And don't make character's like Kara whine about a one night stand that she had nothing in common but sex with. He is so a cylon.

I couldn't figure out what the hell they were leading or misleading about at all.
I've watched BSG now. I enjoyed it quite a lot. The tension of the bar scenes and the Starbuck reactions were well done.
The LeeDee doesn't work. Let's hope they figure that out quickly.
The Sharon scene at the end I rewound and watched again because I thought I missed something, and I still don't know what the intent was.
Billy never did anything for me. (don't hate me) I felt for Laura's loss there.
