Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

Did anyone think they were purposly misleading the auidence with the last scene with Sharon?

I dislike the Lee and Dee thing because it seems so random. And because you were supposed to rooting for her and Billy until this weeks and the training scene's monkey wrench. I liked Billy.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Probably, given the Moore's position that the show presents issues, but doesn't really hand you solutions, they're not wanting us all to be rooting for the same 'ships, which is a very BSG take on it, but not the most satisfying, IMO

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I just like things to make sense and I don't care really about the ships, but if you want me to care, then show me instead of force me.

And don't make character's like Kara whine about a one night stand that she had nothing in common but sex with. He is so a cylon.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Did anyone think they were purposly misleading the auidence with the last scene with Sharon?

I couldn't figure out what the hell they were leading or misleading about at all.

Our wings are not tired.

I've watched BSG now. I enjoyed it quite a lot. The tension of the bar scenes and the Starbuck reactions were well done.

The LeeDee doesn't work. Let's hope they figure that out quickly.

The Sharon scene at the end I rewound and watched again because I thought I missed something, and I still don't know what the intent was.

Billy never did anything for me. (don't hate me) I felt for Laura's loss there.

If I only had a brain...

Frell frell frell frell frell.

My TiVo ate the last two weeks' worth of unwatched BSG episodes, thanks to the rerun marathon last Monday which used up 4 of the 5 available BSG slots. (Yes, I have reset the TiVo to ignore reruns.)

Are there any episode summary sites for BSG? If not, is anybody willing to give me a hasty summary? I'm watching this week's ep now; the last one I saw before that was the one that had Laura resurrected thanks to Cylon!Baby. What happened in between?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Television Without Pity recaplet for this week. Other recaps.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I suck with computers, so to not spoil and still let people who want to know what the creator thinks......go to the current podcast. It clearly tells you why and where the headed with LeeDee.

I very much agree, whats the point for either character. To me even showing intrest is not realistic. And especially the way the episodes have unfolded.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think it's good (and that's a spoiler, so you should white it out) -- I think it's poorly executed and irritating. No matter where they're going with it, unless it involves pod people, excuses that.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Wow.

I've been watching the Stargates and BSG as aired on SciFi, and really hating the crappy video quality.

A new cable channel popped up--I just noticed it this weekend--as part of "The HD package", which, btw, we don't have. But they've been running "Home" all day, and dayum, is this a pretty pretty show.

We also watched an hour of unscored, unVOed footage of sunrise at the mouth of the Crystal River in Florida on DiscoveryHD, plus an hour of "Equator". Awesome.

Question--is anybody else getting SciFi in HD? Is it available? Or are all y'all's SciFi shows as grainy, ghosty, and pixellated as mine?

ETA: and yeah, we got the HD ready widescreen tv. So.spoiled.
