I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I don't feel we were shown that it caused a change.

I might have missed it, but I don't think so either. (And they did a really good job of showing Adama being different after his brush with death.) Just one of several "where'd that come from?" moments of the last two episodes....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We lose Jack for this?

Okay, okay, I know it's not a trade. But still.

Yeah, Orca_girl's got some commentary on her LJ about it. He's definitely put on some weight -- you can see it in his face. I don't know that the extra weight looks bad, it's just unexpected.

Wish they'd kept the grey, though: Mac would totally be grey by now.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Mac would totally be grey by now.

Nah, he's probably coloring his hair with some old wood stain that he had down in the basement. Looks like honey maple, or some such.

Yeah, he should totally have been grey. It's also hotter.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Missing Jack more than I thought I would. Neither the brown hair nor the extra weight look all that good, to me. Good commercial, though.

I think I could adjust to the extra weight if I had to. But not to the hair. The hair is wrong like a wrong thing. Even season 1 Jack looks weird to me, now. I want Season 4 Jack hair.

(Err, I have season 10 Jack hair, under the dye, though...)

I'm not a Stargate fan, but to me that ad is awesome.

Kat said that Kara came back from Caprica different.

Did she come back wrong? Did she have spaceship-falling-down sex with Baltar? I think not seeing the episode has made it a lot more fun for me to imagine different scenarios. I will watch it... eventually. But maybe not for a couple of weeks.

Oh, and ita, I emailed, but I get the feeling I did it wrong. Should it be you at velvetedge, no "the"?

Strega, that's me being lame. There's 1 thing I wanted to get done (aka read) before I replied.
