A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm willing to handwave that they might not have all the right materials to hand to set up a regular production line, because it might make it way too easy to get the drop on the Cylons plotwise. But it would make sense to replace it if they at all could, or at least give us a reason why they can't.
This. One line during a tactical meeting about "Production of the new Blackbird still behind schedule" would do it.
I feel like I need to watch both "Ethon" and "Scar" over again, which is not true of some recent episodes....
Would that be because we wouldn't shut up all hour long??
Not only was SGA a lame retread of LATP, but next week's SGA looked like a giant ripoff of "A Bug's Life."
Stargate Atlantis:
Charmed
for guys!!
Wait, Charmed ISN'T for guys? Why the overwhelming focus on Alyssa Milano's bust, then?
Would that be because we wouldn't shut up all hour long??
Well.. it wasn't like I didn't enjoy it! Just it's not the best way to quietly contemplate the episodes. :-)
OMG, Nutty, you're so right -- it was Look at the Princess! With the bloodline issue, and the must-breed issue, and the stupid local politics...
I can't help but think the Atlantis folks were kind of stupid: overthrow the local government and ruin the locals' ability to protect themselves from the Wraith? Lovely.
And if Sheppard honestly thinks there's gonna be a democracy there in six months, he needs a crash course in world history.
Sheesh.
Stargate Atlantis: Charmed for guys!!
I thought Charmed
was for guys. I've always enjoyed the pretty.
LATP. LPI Approved Training Partners?
"Look at the Princess." Trilogy of episodes in
Farscape
S2.
(I'm very sad that they don't have the blackbird - - should they be making another one?)
sumi, I with you on this. I find it a major distraction wondering where it is and if they are fixing/rebuilding this.
Trilogy of episodes in Farscape S2.
Trilogy of episodes in which the travelers go to a planet where:
- there is a ruling family
- the Princess needs to breed
- stability of the ruling house is necessary to keep the planet secure from dangerous aliens
- our hero John has the right genetic material to breed with her
- the Princess' brother is a scoundrel
- the Princess loves an inappropriate man
- our hero John gets swept up into a succession battle
It's really quite a remarkable coincidence. If it is one.
Daniel needs to talk to Sheppard about the whole over-interfering thing.
Kat said that Kara came back from Caprica different. Did she? I do remember being surprised she was assuming all this responsibility, but I didn't tie it to a point in the timeline nor an event. I don't feel we were shown that it caused a change.
