A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Saw it (BvP) and snarked it. I adore Hewlett so much - made it fun.
tommyrot just remined me that I haven't listened to the podcast yet! Probably because, yeah, not much love for the ep. Maybe I'll just listen without watching. Half the time he's not even talking about anything you'd actually need to see the scene to follow.
The podcast is actually fun. The
entire thing
is about everything that's wrong with the episode, why it didn't work, etc.
OK, Moore says there's one scene that works. Oh, and you could probably listen to the podcast by itself no problem.
eta: OK, two scenes he likes. I agree with him that the two scenes are good.
I need to get to taping it, so I can listen to the PodCast
My favorite thing in BvP was when the guy ripped his shirt off before blasting the flamethrower! For no discernable reason!
There's another episode (maybe The Farm?) where he said something like, "This happened because there was no time, and this didn't work because of this external problem... but really, if something doesn't work, it's my fault." Which improved my already good feelings about him.

Heh. I'm saving a few of the podcasts to listen to while I'm on a long flight next month, so I'll make sure to include that one.
BvP
Took me a sec. - my first reaction was
Buffy vs. Predator.
I'd pay evening prices to see that one, Tommyrot
OK, it's where all the lame-ass predators (the ones not cool enough to get to hunt humans or aliens) get sent to earth to hunt snotmonsters from space.
And then, um.... Dreg shows up... Oh, and Riley dies. He's killed by either the Predator, the snotmonster or Dreg. Or maybe all three at once. Yeah, that's it - they unite to kill Riley.
Um, I suppose Buffy shows up at some point....

Yes. So funny.

This very thing. Also reading a really long transcript of his dealing incredibly adeptly and graciously with hardcore and displeased fans (of the original series) with respect to the new series before anything had even aired.
"I don't quite understand this." - second funniest Moore quote.
