No, Mansquito is that rare gem that sinks into the ooze, and comes out smelling worse than you could've imagined.
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Seeing that new creepy fetusy promo for BSG, I can't help but think that we're going to see a scary little girl in the future.
Of course, it would throw things (like Six' predictions) for a loop if it were a scary little boy instead.
One site I found said:
This is an interactive database on cd-rom that contains profiles of all the original series immortals, their Watchers, and the mortals who interacted with them. It also contains some Watcher entries on immortal activities throughout the centuries.
Apparently there was an earlier edition that only covered seasons 1-3, but the "new" version covers s 1-6.
Oh. Those are part of the DVD extras, at least for the season I own.
Quite possibly the cutest SGA story ever: [link] I couldn't stop laughing.
I was just listening to the radio, and Maureen Ryan, the main TV reviewer for the Chicago Tribune, was being interviewed about the WB/UPN merger. At the end of the interview, the DJ asked her what was the best show on TV now, and she answered, "Battlestar Galactica." He started giggling, and while she admitted to being a geek, she was very firm in her opinion that it was the best-written drama around and definitely worth a watch from even non-SF fans.
But, he didn't stop laughing until the commercial break.
It sounds as if the name Battlestar Galactica prevents many people from taking the show seriously, much like the name Buffy the Vampire Slayer did.
(But not exactly the same, because in BSG's case it's the result of the associatin with the cheesy '70s version of the show.)
Well, I'm sure the TV show suffered some from the cheesy 90s movie too.
I still like Theo's "Battlewagon Hysterica." Said with affection, of course.
