Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Being an ex-teacher, Laura would probably employ the Secret Hall-Monitor Force. Or maybe the S.C.A.T. (Special Crossing-Guards and Tactics.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

DOCTOR Baltar, may I see your hall pass?

Compassionately intolerant

Speaking of sanity not being a feature...of me...I just 'drunkbid' on ebay for 3 Highlander sets. Without the benefit of actually being drunk. Turns out Friday night is the bestworst time to bid. Gack. I was just messing around! Now I'm the proud owner...Sigh.

Ah well. I feel pretty good about the prices. Except for the one that used, ended up being about 10 bucks more than a new set I found later in a buy it now deal.

Sanity. Not my strongest suit.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Or maybe the S.C.A.T. (Special Crossing-Guards and Tactics.)

Ha! Now I'm flashing back to the Crossing Guard chapter of Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? and the power of The Belt.

And just a little over 3 months from the initial attack.
Six months. The caption says 189 days.

Well, a happy Sci-fi Friday for my inner moppet. We get some Martouf action, and Roslin lives.

Heh. I saw your post earlier this evening and thought, "In a few hours one of us will be happy and one of us will be bummed." I figured it would be me that'd be bummed. You win this time... [retreats to secret lair]

ION, I'm bummed. The memory of Baltar with Six lessens it a little, and when Gina opened the case and jumped back I started laughing in realization, but... meh. I'm kind of meh about the episode even apart from that. I like that they're all flawed and sometimes crazy, but this week everyone seemed not just flawed, but actively dopey. Even Cottle. "The blood of this unprecedented hybrid seems... unusual. This is alarming and not at all something we should kind of expect!"

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I would have been happy even if the Angel Moroni appeared, laid down his gold plates, and laid hands on Roslin to heal her.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am happy that Roslin was cured when and how she was, because there will be massive fallout, oh yes there will.

ION, I have started watching the Dr. Who eps sent by dear tiggy, and I am enjoying myself immensely.

Trust my rage

I already posted over in Tape, but is there anyone out there who can hook me up with last night's BSG? My Tivo taped Book of Daniel instead of BSG - I am so disappointed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The memory of Baltar with Six lessens it a little, and when Gina opened the case and jumped back I started laughing in realization, but... meh. I'm kind of meh about the episode even apart from that. Strega is me. This is the first ep I can think of that's actively disappointed me.

Maybe because I was getting to like "sort-of-has-some-of-his-shit-together" Baltar, and now we're back to fondling Invisi!Six in the Galactica hallways? It seems like a step backwards, and I'm not sure why we took it.

(And I take it the SG-1 was better for people who aren't new to the show this year? 'Cause I liked it, but reading the comments makes me think I didn't actually get it.)

My overall impression of SGA is that they ran out of money for location shoots, and needed an episode that didn't leave Atlantis.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I loved SG1. And as a Jack/Sam shipper, I couldn't shake a suspicion alternaSams (at least some of them) were with Pete. Because that's way funnier.

SGA? I hope they don't kill Skinner. They can feel free to kill Teyla, though.

I totally agree with Jessica on Baltar. I can't imagine that if the VP were running around looking that nuts, that something wouldn't come of it. It's caricaturish and uninvolving.
