If I only had a brain...

Does it ever inch up? Because there must have been a scattering of pregnant civilians.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Either in the mini or early in season one there was a baby born, so Laura got to add one.

Does every SF show do this?
No, no. Casino planets are obviously ridiculous. That's why Buck Rogers went to a casino space station instead.

And yeah, there's a baby born at the end of "33." The total also went up by 1 when Helo rejoined the fleet.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

It it had been Enterprise, Cain would've taken Gina to her quarters for a private interrogation. There would've been soft focus, clothing on the floor, entwined limbs, and possibly slo-motion and steam.

On a better show that would've been no more than a deleted scene, probably an early cut, and something for the DVD.

All is well that ends in pizza.

On Babylon 5, there would be snark and an implied relationship.

Do ya' ever wake up in the middle of the night, and suddenly want to write something about Dirk Benedict?

I've been thinking about BSG TOS - I watched the pilot recently, and found Starbuck to be... annoying. Much more so than when the show origially aired. Something about his character - the rogue Casanovaishness bugs me. Now I have nothing against a rogue in principal, but something about this particular one annoyed me. I was thinking maybe it was the way the character was played for comedy... but after thinking about it a bit, I've decided that I just don't like Dirk Benedict. I never watched The A-Team much, but I can picture him being annoying on it as well.

I've also been forced to conclude that the new BSG's Starbuck is not a million times better than TOS, but rather a bazillion.

OK, now that I've confessed my Dirk "eggs" Benedict dislike, I can go back to bed....

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Aww. Who doesn't like Face from the A-Team?

I mean, who can't like the name Dirk Benedict? It's such a porn star name!

He gave a lecture at one of the societies in my college a few years back. I didn't go, but I remember reading an interview with him in the college newspaper. He came off as... a little right-wing, I guess? In some ways, anyway, just weird in others. Apparently he got rid of bowel cancer with a microbiotic diet. I don't remember much of it except not liking him after reading it.
