What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's a subset of fandom that adores those Norcent players. They make great con DVD players, because they're easily portable and they play approximately eight million formats.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I've been having a lot of trouble getting my Sanyo to play a lot of stuff -- mostly vid sets and home-burned dvds.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I love my Phillips DVD player, as mentioned, it plays just about everything. I forget how many toasters I earned with it and my Firefly SVCDs back in the day.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

TVShowsOnDVD.com just reported that Doctor Who has been picked up by Sci-Fi and that the 2005 DVD set will be released at a date by which the series will have aired, July 4th, 2006. The BBC has changed its Doctor Who splash page just slightly.

Wahoooo!

Was anyone else waiting for Daleks or Cybermen to blow up the White House on that announcement page?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'd be happy with a graphic of a Dalek confronting Bush/Cheney and intoning, "EXTERMINATE!"
