"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Tragically, she added the threat "Back off, or I'll give you a facial you'll never forget!"

If I only had a brain...

I have to say, if I were Tessa, I'd be much more jealous of Duncan's sparring with Joan Jett than of Joan Jett's sleeping with Richie.

If you were the lover of an Immortal, and knew he was an Immortal, surely your first task would be to make yourself as non-hostageable as possible? Guns, hand-to-hand, portable blowtorches, whatever. Besides, sparring with Duncan: Teh Hot.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wonder if all that electric boogaloo dancing practice they get during the quickenings makes immortals more resistant to being tasered?

Either that, or they all wind up keeping the violet wand (NOT work-safe) in the bedroom.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hitting "read new" brougth up Minearverse and this sentence from Perkins

I've had them before, Betsy. You're not wrong.

It made me blink for a second, in light of the above post.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Uh-oh -- it's been delayed!

The price I've seen is $99.98.

That does it, delays are not good, and can sometimes last forever. It's Amazon.co.uk for me. I've heard bad things about the packaging (which at least looks appropriately Tardis-like) but at least the set is available, and for about $70, shipping included. Oh yeah, Region 2 and PAL--but that's what cheap, offbrand DVD players are for.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You don't need offbrand, Mikey. You can hack a lot of brands these days. I use a Philips.

Oh. I thought Philips was an offbrand. Hehe. I have one of those--it plays just about anything I put in it, unlike the Sony I used to have.

Philips? They're pretty huge. Who are on-brand for you? Aside from Sony, that is.

My previous player was a Sampo. That's some off brand right there.

If I only had a brain...

From a Highlander tchotchke page:

"HIGHLANDER: The Source" logo embroidery on front chest and across back. Features inside pocket detail, zip front and slash-style pockets

If they only knew. Pockets are the *least* of it.
