And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yes, Betsy, you will miss some character-defining stuff, some character death and character adding, and a slight re-direction of the show in general. I'd say sooner skip from the middle of S2 to just about any other point in the show's run. Well, except for the last "season," where there weren't any scripts, or direction, or rules, or anything except let's get this baby in the can and move ON already.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, can girl Vulcans not be evil? Or do they acquire some other visual signifier of evil? Perhaps an evil Vulcan chick would wear a bonnet?

eta: ION,

n a genre switcheroo, "The L Word" offers fantastical tales of pretentious little girls from outer space, while "Battlestar Galatica" tugs at our heartstrings -- and knocks our fracking socks off!

WB Nets Its Aquaman

After a three-month search, The WB has cast 28-year-old newcomer Will Toale as the star of its upcoming Aquaman series, created by Smallville producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Variety reported.

The Florida-born Toale worked as a model before landing a supporting role in A Streetcar Named Desire at Broadway's Roundabout Theater alongside Natasha Richardson and John C. Reilly. Toale beat out 400 contenders in England, Australia, Canada and several U.S. cities, Gough told the trade paper.

The pilot will shoot in March, probably in Miami. The series is expected to be a signature offering next fall for the network and Warner Brothers TV.

In the show, the aquatic superhero will be Arthur Curry, who owns a dive shop.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Heh. I snagged that shirtless pic for bestof as soon as I read tommyrot's post.

He looks...WB pretty. So that's a decent start. Not disturbing like the other guy who appeared on Smallville.

If I only had a brain...

Thanks for all the Highlander advice. The show is cheesy, but Adrian Paul is very very very (add another couple of verys) pretty.

ita, how convincing is the swordwork? He seems to do many more spins than sparring.

How much did I love their pulling the old "I'm not left-handed" trick in S1? Thiiiiiis much.

It's been a long while since I watched the swordfights, Betsy, but I remember them as impractical and showy, but in line with handfighting realism standards.

If I only had a brain...

I question how much "my sword spins faster than yours" one would do when a duel to the death impends.
