I seriously doubt her plans include letting Tigh keep his job, whether he falls in line or not.
Yeah, but there's that time in between when Adama died and someone else came over to take command
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I seriously doubt her plans include letting Tigh keep his job, whether he falls in line or not.
Yeah, but there's that time in between when Adama died and someone else came over to take command
The whole point is for the assassins to "get caught"
That would kind of suck for the person getting caught, don't you think? In the "Whoops security wasn't that good and one impassioned person shot her dead. Oh, darn." sense.
Which BSG has employed before -- in fact, recently.
You're not interested in a fork-wielding accident??
Spork!
Yeah, but there's that time in between when Adama died and someone else came over to take command
Not really -- her own XO is already aboard, presumably he would take command. (As Starbuck would on Pegasus.)
That would kind of suck for the person getting caught, don't you think?
That's why Lee is there to watch her back.
I thought Cain's wording was intended to imply the Marines were to shoot everyone in CIC, which would take out Tigh. Easier to take over the Galactica if the rank and file is demoralized by losing all their top officers, and to put the fear of Cain into them.
I seriously doubt her plans include letting Tigh keep his job, whether he falls in line or not.
She did say tell her XO to terminate Adama's command, starting with Adama. That means Tigh gets a bullet, too, with all the other line officers.
Or what Theo said.
Right.
I meant with the fork-lift scenario.
I meant with the fork-lift scenario.Argh. Now I've got the MST3K Fugitive Alien song in my head.
Bombs were a part of the plot of the introductory miniseries, IIRC. Of course, because they were wielded by the bad guys, they failed in their objective.
I'm not totally sure what you're referring to. In "Litmus," Doral blew himself up real good, along with several other people. Given the terrorism anvils in that episode, it seemed like the objective there was to increase fear and paranoia. And that it worked pretty well.
A show All About Vulcans wouldn't be very entertaining.
Unless it was a sitcom about a group of Vulcans who are stuck in a constant state of Pon Farr.
it was done in such a way that the person doing the assassination didn't get caught
What's wrong with the assassin getting caught?
