Roslin just rocks. I mean, I think she's wrong like a wrong thing, because I don't think assassinating the admiral is the best way to go, strategically. I mean, wasn't she all about the Rule of Law when Adama deposed her? But still, she's quite marvelous in that scene, and in the one where she's in her bathrobe. I'm loving the distance she and Adama have come.
And Starbuck! Yoiks! ::flails:: Poor Starbuck! What a fucking mess.
I do think the dual assassination plots are a bit too much, that they're identical. But what a mess.
I kind of hope they don't kill Caine. I just love Michelle Forbes. Ro Laren! ::sigh::
Gods, can you imagine Baltar and Cain as civilian and military leaders.
The humans would be so frelled.
I'm worrried they're going to make Laura a Cylon. Not a lot worried. Just a little. She could be the last one resurrected.

ita provided that link to pictures from the London ComicCon. All I have to say is, OMG Joe Flanigan's HAIR! ::flails::
I loved the flippy ships! It was beautiful.
I've been watching BSG since this summer, but this is the first time I've ever been caught up enough to watch in real time. Or almost real time because we never stay up late enough to watch any show that starts at 10pm.
Oh, and I loved the "Good hunting" line. Poor Starbuck - I hope she doesn't fall for Cain's manipulation.
I watched the promo very carefully -- I don't have the ability to slow it down -- all I could tell is that the sidearm is being held right-handed. It looked as though Starbuck was carrying her sidearm on the left in the bit where she walks down the hall.
Apollo carries his sidearm on the right.
But the shooter didn't seem to be wearing a shiny flightsuit.
I loved the flippy ships. If I'd had control of the TiVo peanut controller at that moment, we'd have totally watched that a couple times in a row.
As it was, we all pretty much gasped when Roslyn made her modest proposal. It was the essence of an HSQ moment!

But they're not identical, though. Adama's plan is Boomer's assassination attempt: because it
worked;
she should have just shot him in the head. It's up close and personal. Cain's, on the other hand, is, in essence, a military coup: Fisk, rather than shooting Adama himself, is to order some Marines to take Adama out in addition to the rest of his command. The timing is the same, but the strategies and philosophies are completely different.
Cain ordered the execution of Adama's entire
command
-- everybody in CIC. Total coup.
Cain ordered the execution of Adama's entire command -- everybody in CIC. Total coup.
Yeah, I caught that -- not just a coup, but a coup enabled by a massacre. I still think it's all a bit too writerly/convenient to have the setup be exactly the same.
Anyone taking bets on the person with the gun to Caine's head in the promo being Lee instead Kara? Or are we all convinced it's Caine's XO? (What's his name, anyway?)
