Maya.
Fastest linker in the West, you are. And also right. I was conflating the eyebrows and the cheek swoop. She was mighty cool.
Saffron ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I loved SPACE:1999 so much. I wanted to be Maya.
Oooh, my brother had a huge toy Eagle, and a watergun shaped like the stun guns, and a Space: 1999 boardgame. The last of which, at least, is probably still in my mom's basement.
I don't actually remember much of the show, but we wouldn't have gotten lots of crappy merchandise for just any old thing.
Well, okay, we would have. And probably did. Shut up.
Moonbase Alpha! I did like that show.
I used to own a model of the moonbase.
Did Space 1999 have an episode where a guy was marooned on the moon with an enemy alien, and they had to work together to get to safety, and then when they did, the other people were mean to the alien, even though the marooned guy told them not to?
Or was that an episode of UFO ?
Some children watch the new Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion episode, and give great commentary (Obviously spoilers.)
I have seen none of the new Doctor Who, but I did watch The Christmas Invasion episode. I did have a bit of cognitive dissonance, because I had recently seen the new Harry Potter movie, and it took me a while to not see the new Doctor as Barty Crouch, Jr.
My favorite bit was the death by satsuma. Brilliantly played.
I was rather fond of the "Who am I?" speech. And "It's a fightin' hand!" The glasses thing was a bit odd, and makes me wonder what it's all about.
I whole-heartedly encourage you to see the previous season: Tennant and Eccleston are both fantastic as the Doctor, in various ways.
I whole-heartedly encourage you to see the previous season:
I'm hoping to, once I can figure out how to get my grubby hands on it. I've heard so much about Eccleston (and Capt. Jack!) that I really, really want to see it.
