Ah, thanks. (There are a million Captain Jacks! They should all team up and fight crime together.)
Judging by just the most recent two, they'd be too busy shagging to get much done.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Fight crime" can be a euphemism. I'm not picky.
Jool's a total woobie. I want to cuddle her and feed her soup.
Would that you were able to do so in a constant manner that would preclude screeching.
I'm with Consuela on Sikozu though. I really liked her before the final set of episodes.
I used to be terribly fond of Sikozu but her characterization in "We're So Screwed" and the mini annoyed me so much that I've become retroactively irritated with her entire 'arc', such as it was. Not Raelee Hill's faults, who I hear is a lovely person.
I've been catching up with the new SGA through aheming, and (spoilers for "Critical Mass" and "Grace Under Pressure") while I have a lot of affection for the characters, the writing really isn't impressing me overmuch. I was irritated with the half-heartedness of the torture/mole episode, the ending of which was SUCH a cop-out. 'Cause, y'know, if they are taking on a controversial subject, at least have the balls to go the distance. Perhaps it's because I've seen similar issues dealt with much more complexity in Spooks and BSG, but the whole thing left me thoroughly annoyed. The squee about the fandom is so deafening in LJ land that I want to love it and join in, but... eh. I did love the one with McKay under thousands feet of ocean though. It was lovely to see Sam.
Vonnie, I totally agree on the torture bit. It really pissed me off, actually, and made me like the show and the characters a little less. I loved Grace Under Pressure though. The Stargates usually aren't great at the whole characterisation thing, but David Hewlett really managed to pull it off.
And the season finally kicks into gear with "Unrealized Reality."
Heh. I knew it! I think that's the last episode I watched all the way through. I saw bits of the next two, but it felt like a chore. Reading about what happened after, I think I was wise to bail out when I did.
Jool grew on me, and I liked the idea of having someone replace Crichton as ship's newbie. From what I remember of Sikozu, she seemed superfluous. But so did many other things in S4.
I've mentioned, probably once too often, that I saw him in Sondheim's "Company" as Bobby a few years ago at the Kennedy Center, and I'm bemused to find him becoming a genre icon.
I'm also bemused, but mainly because he used to be the only non-genre icon on my laptop's wallpaper (which was the picture of him, Alexis Denisof, and Tony Head in Rope). It was my wallpaper for about two years, before I switched it with the cover of Nightwing #93, so suddenly seeing his picture on every third LJ icon was like seeing an old flame or something.
John Barrowman just looks like he's thinking of having sex. Maybe he's saving the world or plotting murder, but after that, he totally intends to have a good shag.
Oh, hello, my pretties.
