Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe they set what he thinks of as het-normal, and therein lies the kernel of the thing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Just watched "The Flax." Aw, John and Aeryn almost had The Sex! Those crazy kids and their pent-up sexual tension.

Thrive to spite them

Dad and I just watched Nerve. And then the dvd was damaged so we couldn't watch the second part (I forgot the name), it's fun watching all of the pieces start to move into place. Dad was very disappointed about the damaged dvd and I'm going to see if the library has it, but so far I couldn't find it listed anywhere.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The Lex/Lana thing didn't bother me because I've been picking up that vibe from Lex since season 1, when it was rather squicky (early 20-something Lex vs. 14-year old Lana) so I wasn't surprised in the slightest that Lex would dream about that.

you know what's wierd? When I read Clark/Lex slash, with Clark being 15, it doesn't bother me. But, if there is Lex/lana or Lex/chloe, it feels wrong. Even the one where Clark turns into a girl bothered me. I wonder why that is?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There's a much bigger societal tradition of young girls being pressured into sex or marriage by older men with no regard for what's best for them?

Art Crawl!!!

Ummm, because even though Clark is 10 years younger. . . he's so much physically stronger?

Which completely leaves aside Lex ability to manipulate him emotionally and intellectually, but that's always going to be there.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Isn't Tom Welling a good bit older than Kristin Kreuk? That could influence the squick factor.
