Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That was his big mistake, poor bastard.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

He did have a great smile. Poor guy.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Poor Martouf. Poor, sweet, goofy, chunk of wood Martouf with his doomed crush and awkward smile.

Was it here that we decided that it was impossible to invoke Martouf's name without sighing "Poor Martouf!"? It's sort of like how Zelenka's name is always accompanied by excited happy squee of "Zelenka!!!" (with three exclamation marks, mind.)

For all its goofy plots and wacked out non-emotional-continuity, SGverse sure produced a lot of weirdly lovable characters.

So very true. The big galoot.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

He's so earnest, poor duck.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Those eyes! Poor Martouf.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sincerity. It'll get you killed. Just ask Daniel.

Yeah, where was Oma when my woobie died, hmmm? Martouf was totally ascension material.

(Suddenly I'm feeling very "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" about Daniel WRT Martouf.)
