Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yaaaaay.

I loved how Crichton just started cutting everyone off once he'd had a couple futureflashes.

Oh, and this exchange was priceless:

"What's wrong with him?"
"He is Crichton."

But the sex dreams turned out to be totally gratuitous and pointless. Though I was surprised by how much they got away with.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If the dreams involved Browder and Black, they might be gratuitous but I'd hardly call them pointless...

Honey, it was filmed in Australia and shown on cable. You have no idea what all you'll see on camera. Heh.

And yes, D'Argo's got an interesting backstory.

Sadly for the males in the audience, we never saw that particular crop top on Aeryn again. Ben and Rockne (I think) mention it in the commentary on that episode, mourning its loss.

Some of the special effects are very good, although they change shops after the first season. There are shots in season 1 I still find among the most beautiful in the show, but everything looks better on dvd.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dana, did you say DVDs of The Sentinel were coming out? Because I want them, and I can find no mention of them. Did I misunderstand you?

Yes, you did. I was talking about Atlantis DVDs.

So we know about SGA being the fandom of the crackaddled AUs. Well, it's also become the fandom of the crackaddled crossovers.

Ladies and gents, I give you Where Did All the Physics Go?, an SGA-Star Trek TOS crossover. [link] Funniest damn thing I've read in months.

Oh, man, Michael Piller died. Such a shame.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

That's too bad.

Can anyone confirm Supernatural was a re-run last night? The online cable guide said it was, but I didn't think to stop my DVD to check until it was too late last night.
