You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hmmm, I'm guessing that there are whole websites full of new Brainiac/Lex fic. . . or will be shortly.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

That episode was so bad, it was painful. I wish Lana had torched all the sorority girls, they were ridiculously obnoxious. Hell, I wish a meteor had destroyed the sorority house in minute 5 and Lana had went "Oops, guess I need to live elsewhere" and spared us all the pain.

Umm, the fire shooting from her eyes thing -- that was a witchy power from last season, right?

I think she gained Clark's heat vision from drinking his blood.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay. . . that makes sense.

Come on Kalshane -- are you saying that you didn't laugh hysterically through the last 20 minutes?

No, I just sort of groaned morosely.

Tonight I watched the most incredibly boring episode of Stargate. I couldn't believe it. It was just Ben Browder talking and talking about airplanes and his military experiences, and occasionally someone would interrupt him to provide clumsy transitions. I kept thinking, "I can't believe so many Buffistas watch this. Is it always this bad?"

Then I jumped out of an airplane, and then I rode on a sub, and there was something about a stolen Russian ship. And then someone downstairs made some noise that woke me up, and I realized that I'd fallen asleep on the couch with the History Channel on.

I think that I superimposed Ben Browder on the actual narrator of the show because before falling asleep I'd caught the end of a show Scott Bakula was hosting. But having him tell me about airplanes wasn't as nice as the dream where he was promoting Farscape at my mom's house. Riding the sub was fun, though.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Strega, Ben Browder did do some voiceovers for some History Channel show at one point -- something about famous battle sites. So it could well have been him.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Strega, that's hilarious.

I'm also glad I'm not the only one who has dreams that they're watching a really boring episode of TV.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

The sad thing is at this point I was thinking "Watergate? Was she watching Watergate? But Ben Browder isn't in that one..."
