Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, it's definitely a Lana-centric episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I still can't believe Lois Lane kissed Aquaman. That's so dumb.

Art Crawl!!!

Yahoo has a scene between Brainiac and Lex from this week's Smallville up on their tv site.

He sounds so very Spikey -- only without the account, " the great Lex Luthor " -- just the way he said that.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I found her annoying in a sympathetic way, and would have much rather had her than Sikozu around the ship in S4. Jool, I wanted to feed milk and cookies. Sikozu, I wanted to slap.

To coin a phrase: Me, Too. I came around somewhat on Sikozu by the end, but I always had more sympathy for Jool, who wasn't quite so self-aware about how arrogant she was. Jool was just clueless, you know?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I liked them both. I'm easy.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

So I've gorged myself on Destina's Stargate recs. I'm not active in a lot of fandoms, but is Daniel the World's Biggest Woobie or what? Good gravy.

Topically... um... I've got nothing.

signed, lost interest in Farscape after first season and must now add to Netflix queue cause really, what was I thinking...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

OMG, they just introduced Commander Adama at the World Series, and I had this brief moment of panic that he was going to sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Fortunately, he's only introducing the all-Latino legends baseball team.

Aillean, move on to Barkley's SG recs. And then BSO and PolyRecs.

Daniel is a major woobie. Although I suspect Rodney give him a good run for the money, given the whole coward-but-brave-when-he-has-to-be thing he's got going. Woobie-lovers love Rodney.

If I only had a brain...

Joining the whole shebang in S9, I am not getting the Daniel-love. He strikes me as a major git.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did he do the "So say we all!" thing?
