A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

One day I will watch all the episodes in order. I'd say I've seen about half of them, and I think that I've got the arcs down, but I'd really like to see them all actually happen.

I've definitely seen enough that P-C's problems with it don't bother me in the least. Though I occasionally have issues with Scorpius' motivations.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Think of Pilot as one of those parasitic males that attach to a large female fish permanently, only less with the parasitism and more with the symbiosis.

Our wings are not tired.

I didn't watch Farscape when it originally aired. I watched the entire series straight through over about a month in anticipation of the mini-series. I loved the whole, but it would have been better if I had watched one ep a week. The contrast between the brilliant episodes and the whatever were they thinking episodes is more startling when viewed in a marathon.

It helps to realize they made them once a week (or less frequently with between season breaks) which is a killing pace for everyone involved.

...don't they make most television shows once a week? Or are we talking a less-than-eight-day turnover?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Though I occasionally have issues with Scorpius' motivations.

I think the writers did, too. But I forgive them.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm guessing they mean it's a killing pace as compared to normal life, not as compared to other high-energy dramas.

Actually, IIRC, most 1 hour shows take at least two weeks per ep, with some overlap, hence the starting filming during the summer, and not solidly showing through the season.
