Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

She used the White Stripes cover of that song (i.e., sung by a guy named Jack, with no pronouns changed), which I'm now sure will now be used unironically by lots of 12 year old vidders forevermore.

If I only had a brain...

Question: Who has the highest dry-cleaning bills in Sci-fi?

Right now I'm leaning toward Farscape, because (A) they deal with a lot of gook and (B) leather is a bitch to clean.

Clearly Star Trek has the highest alterations bill, because of working around Shatner's pooch.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

If we're talking not just TV, but movies, I'd say the MiB considering the ridiculous amount of goo and the fact that all their agents wear identical tailored suits.

ETA: Serenity's crew probably has to do the most hole-patching though, considering at least one person is shot or stabbed nearly every episode.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

BSG has lots of people and no stores, so they've got to be pretty high up there too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Although I'm sure they saved a lot of money in the scene with the dozen Boomers by having them all naked.

Maybe all of their uniforms were being dry-cleaned.

If I only had a brain...

BSG is clearly saving money by reducing towel size.

Actually, now I'm trying to think up the list of injuries and clothing damage on Firefly:

Serenity (ep, not movie): Kaylee shot (shirt and jumpsuit), Mal shot (coat and shirt), Zoe shot (shirt)
The Train Job: Jayne shot. (pants)
Bushwacked: No one injured (Jayne was only attacked, but unhurt, right?)
Shindig: Mal stabbed (dress shirt)
Safe: Book shot (Shepherd's shirt)
Our Mrs. Reynolds: Wash kicked in head (no clothing affected)
Jaynestown: Simon beat-up (possible clothing tear?)
Out of Gas: Zoe concussed by explosion (unknown), Mal shot (shirt)
Ariel: Jayne slashed (Blue Sun Shirt)
War Stories: Mal and Wash tortured (unknown), Jayne shot (shirt)
Trash: Jayne electrified (unknown)
Heart of Gold: No crew injuries
The Message: Wash shot (graze) in head (no clothing affected)
Objects in Space: Mal beat-up. Book beat up.(unknown) Inara backhanded (no clothing affected), Simon shot (pants).
