Earl was hilarious.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I liked Earl.
"Incest, Yay!"
Um, ew? I usually see everything, everywhere but even I don't see that.
As Demian pointed out in his recap of Supernatural
Wait, huh? I didn't think TWOP was recapping it. *checks site* Nope, still not there. I'd love to read recaps of it, I bet they'd be a blast.
About JA being Spader-esque, I do think that it's not just that he looks like a dead ringer for him, but his acting in this role is particularly like Spader in, say, "Boston Legal" when he throws out ridiculously snarky lines with such a gleeful, nonchalant and unfazed air.
Quotes: (Dean is JA, Sam is.. the other guy)
Sam: Dean, what I said about Mom and Dad, I'm sor-
Dean: Hey, no chick flick moments.
Sam: All right... jerk.
Dean: Bitch.
-----------------
Sam: So what's the theory?
[hick cop]: Seriously? We don't know. Serial murder, Kidnapping ring...
Dean: Well, that's exactly the kinda crack police work I'd expect outta you guys.
and finally, I laughed out loud at this one:
Homeland Security Man: Can I help you, boys?
Dean: No, sir, we were just leaving.
[two large male FBI agents walk past them]
Dean: Agent Mulder. Agent Scully.
PS Earl was great but I expected as much from my beloved Jason Lee.
PPS Amy Acker appears to be guest-starring "on the coming months(!)" of Supernatural, unless my eyes are deceiving me.

I saw Amy, too.
Sorry, the Supernatural pilot was recapped as a one-off because of the fundraiser for Donors Choose. It's here.
he throws out ridiculously snarky lines with such a gleeful, nonchalant and unfazed air.Yeah, that's totally it. He looks like he's embracing the toolishness of the character, which makes him a lot more entertaining to watch.
That was Amy Acker, and if she says anything about the attractive men rescuing her from the supernatural beasts, I think my head will explode.
Bwah ha ha, I'd love to see them try to go there! Oh, too funny.
PS thanks for the link!
If you go to the SciFi website, they have little documentaries on BSG (the ones from last season are also on the new DVDs). I just watched a documentary on the Pegasus and the Blackbird (the ships). Not really spoilery. One interesting thing - it would have been way beyond their budget to constuct a bunch of sets for the Pegasus, considering that they'd only be used for one or a few episodes. What happened is that about a year ago they purchased (for very cheap) the sets that were built for the Fox pilot for a Lost in Space show, which was cancelled. Then they modified those sets to get the Pegasus, which I don't think is a spoiler to say that the Pegasus interior looks like the Galactica, except more modern (given that the Galactica was much older than the other battlestars of the fleet).
On the online docu they still had a ways to go, so it's hard to tell what it's gonna look like for the episode when it shows.
eta for possible spoiler....
[potential spoiler omitted]
This is a spoiler, I think.
More of a guess. Based on what they did for the TOS. But I'll whitefont to be safe.
Did anyone see the Smallville promo during Supernatural?
I am VERY intrigued that Lex was able to punch Clark in the mouth and draw blood -- any theories? Perhaps Lex is moisturizing with handcreme made with meteor rock?
