Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Thrive to spite them

BSG question. When Baltar first does the Cylon test on Boomer, it seems to rather quickly. She goes in, asks to be tested, and she sits there but it doesn't seem to be a long time.

Now, in Tigh me Up Tigh me Down, it takes 11 hours to do the Cylon test. Was Boomer in the lab for that long or am I confused.

Our wings are not tired.

As I recall the 11 hour thing wasn't real. He just said that for some reason, but I don't remember the reason.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I thought Boomer was just in there for a really long time, and the ep didn't show us all of it. But I could be wrong.

Also, what is KAK or CAG, I know I've heard it used in reference to certain people but I'm not sure what it means. Although it was probably explained and I didn't pay attention.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It might be Commander Air Group or something like that, it means Lee is the head of the fighter pilots, anyway. I think he actually spelled it out in passing during the last episode, too.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Theo is correct.

Boomer's test definitely takes about 8 hours to run, because that plot is intercut with Starbuck's interrogation of Leoben. Roslyn establishes that they've got 8 hours & 40 minutes until the bomb goes off, if there is a bomb. Starbuck starts questionning Leoben, and in the next scene, Boomer asks Baltar to test her. Then there's fun with Leoben for a while before we go back and see Baltar tell Boomer that she's human. Which is immediately followed by a scene where Billy tells Roslyn that there's less than an hour before the kaboom.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

It's a gigantic Lite Brite that serves as a power source. Developed by the Ancients, and necessary to run some of their technology; it's also required to Gate between galaxies.

I know Rodney gave some sort of an explanation of how it worked in Rising, but frankly I wasn't listening. Something about subspace.
