We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Re. the costume in the photo Betsy linked to: Usually, I'd roll my eyes at the blatant catering to 14-year-old boy demographic (I'm still traumatized abotu Anise/Freya's costume from that Zay'tac episode), but the best thing is that it is *totally* in character for Vala to try to make the BDUs sexy. Man, she looks good.

There was some noise about that. Someone should probably e-mail. Want me to do it?

Sure thing! Then we can exchange phone numbers and non-board names and so forth.

If I only had a brain...

I actually think she looks much, much hotter in disheveled BDUs than in her silly bondage costume.

Yes, I am stupid. Sorry.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, David, you're such an enabler.

I mentioned the part about Daniel Dae Kim being dangerous and conflicted and his hair gets longer and it's kind of curly, right? And Dom's in it being adorable and unhobbitty. Also it's like a slasher's paradise with mostly beautiful fucked up men in conflict. Men like Harold Perrineu. Teppy's got a fascination with the enigmatic and compelling Terry O'Quinn.

Also, this actress is extremely talented.

Yes, I am stupid. Sorry.

Me too, apparently. The silly bondage constume just made me roll my eyes. And don't get me started on the patterned tights.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm pretty sure that costume actually performs a valuable function for Vala - keeping her marks distracted from what her hands are doing.

Slut!

eta Not a comment on Vala, but a self-description.

If I only had a brain...

keeping her marks distracted from what her hands are doing.

Not to mention valuable artifact-hiding space.

Which leads me to an old vulgar joke.

The Queen of England and Princess Anne are in their Rolls-Royce when they are held up by a highwayman. He demands all their jewelry and drives off in the Rolls.

The two ladies are walking down the road. Princess Anne says, "Mama, I have a confession to make." "Yes?" "I hid my pearls. Someplace... very private."

They walk on in silence. The Queen replies, "I, too, hid my crown. Someplace .... very, very private."

They walk on in silence. The Queen remarks, "Damn. If Margaret had been here, we could have saved the Rolls."

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Nah, I totally agree that she's hotter in BDUs than in that whole S&M get-up. I thought the mini-skirt was hot, too, but hey, this is Claudia Black. It's tough to make her look less than scorching. Like that patterned '70's skintight two-piece thing in ... err, was is "Kansas"? Whichever ep it was when the Moya gangs goes to the earth. It was ridiculous and she should not have looked as good as she did in it, but wow. Hubba-hubba indeed.

I liked those.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. For as much as I am very, very not into fashion, patterned tights are one of my buttons. Like socks and sandals, espadrilles (and I know they're in this season) and wearing denim jackets with jeans.
