I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

man, a VM and Dr Who marathon sounds like so much fun.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Maybe a Buffista breakfast should be scheduled?

Aren't we supposed to be getting together with minnow and mely for breakfast one of the days? I know mely's a Buffista--not sure about minnow, but she totally should be, even if it's only for this thread.

Man, I have work to do.

Suela has no work.

Suela needs no work.

Sigh. If only. In my next incarnation, I'm totally getting born as a Lady of Leisure.

T-10 days until Vividcon. I think I can make it without pitching myself into the river. Barely.

If I only had a brain...

Whoo-hoo: spoilery costume shots for this week's Stargate SG-1.

Kickass is back! Oh, competent CB, how have we missed thee.

And I'm thinking if the show continues for a few more seasons the clothes will have to get more and more ragged and skimpy. For, you know, realism. Lost is famous for that.

I wouldn't bet on it. You just know some of the deceased packed like Thurston and Lovey Howell, and happened to have clothes in a range of sizes that will fit everyone from Aaron to Hurley.

Thank God for wardrobe smugglers!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I love that she carefully ripped the T-shirt to show chest. There's a woman with her priorities straight, huh?

I get in ridiculously early on Thursday, so I should be all checked in and maybe floating around the con suite or up in my room.

But then I'll have to make an effort! Hrmp.

More seriously, e-mail me your last name so I can track down your room, will you?

There was some noise about that. Someone should probably e-mail. Want me to do it?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Re. the costume in the photo Betsy linked to: Usually, I'd roll my eyes at the blatant catering to 14-year-old boy demographic (I'm still traumatized abotu Anise/Freya's costume from that Zay'tac episode), but the best thing is that it is *totally* in character for Vala to try to make the BDUs sexy. Man, she looks good.

There was some noise about that. Someone should probably e-mail. Want me to do it?

Sure thing! Then we can exchange phone numbers and non-board names and so forth.

If I only had a brain...

I actually think she looks much, much hotter in disheveled BDUs than in her silly bondage costume.

Yes, I am stupid. Sorry.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, David, you're such an enabler.

I mentioned the part about Daniel Dae Kim being dangerous and conflicted and his hair gets longer and it's kind of curly, right? And Dom's in it being adorable and unhobbitty. Also it's like a slasher's paradise with mostly beautiful fucked up men in conflict. Men like Harold Perrineu. Teppy's got a fascination with the enigmatic and compelling Terry O'Quinn.

Also, this actress is extremely talented.

Yes, I am stupid. Sorry.

Me too, apparently. The silly bondage constume just made me roll my eyes. And don't get me started on the patterned tights.

I'm pretty sure that costume actually performs a valuable function for Vala - keeping her marks distracted from what her hands are doing.
