whether or not (a) crazy fan(s) "coerced" him or not is unclear.

I seriously doubt that the crazy fans directly influenced Shanks' return, but they may have had a hand in influencing the producers to back a truck full of money up to his door once the relative popularity of Nemec's character became apparent.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, David, you're such an enabler.

...not that this should be a thing that I enjoy. But apparently it is. Within reason. Um.

So, Lost premiers here tomorrow. I should watch, is what you're saying?

I think so. There's quite the smorgasboard of pretty to chose from. Hot folks on a hot island. And I'm thinking if the show continues for a few more seasons the clothes will have to get more and more ragged and skimpy. For, you know, realism. Lost is famous for that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

For the sake of those of us who plan to catch up on Veronica Mars once the DVDs come out, could we whitefont any really spoily bits that might otherwise ruin the show if I happen to catch them out of the corner of my eye while scrolling past?

Also, some of us are playing along with the home game, i.e. catching the weekly reruns of VM in sequence, so as not to OD on the fabulousness and to spread the goodness out.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Lost is a fun, beautifully-made show, with terrific actors. Several of its episodes this past year were outstanding and I like it a lot, although I share tiggy's frustration with the lack of answers. It's totally worth watching though. I mean, the pretty alone...!

It's too damn bad that they've pitted it against Veronica Mars next season, the only show Lost comes second to on my TiVo season pass. Bah.

Will do!

I can't wait for you to watch the show, Dana, because Logan? Is *so* your boy. You're gonna love him, in all his broken glory.

ETA: by the way, have I mentioned that I'm bringing my laptop to Vividcon, along with my hard drive with the entire first seasons of DL'd Veronica Mars and Doctor Who?
