Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I'm thinking Zelenka will not be able to avoid giving McKay some shit.

Which is to say: ZELENKA!!!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Zelenka Zelenka Zelenka

It's just so fun to say. I held off as long as I could.

Who doesn't love Radek?

The directors, I suspect, since they've allowed everyone to mispronounce his name from the very beginning.

In the scene where he gets a name, he says, "this is doctor ZELenka, Doctor Weir," and she turns around and calls him "ZeLENka", and so does everyone else from then on.

I find this fascinating and annoying. Doesn't it piss him off? Or is he so used to it he doesn't even argue anymore?

Somebody has a plot bunny...

It's raining like the end of the world here. If my power goes out and I'm deprived of Sci-Fi Friday, I will be a deeply unhappy girl.

Huh. I didn't know that sdraevn was Danvers. Even though it's a really obvious anagram.

t is dumb

I have those moments with LJ names all the time. Like, something will look like an unintelligable jumble, and then I'll realize it's actually two or three words smushed together.

If I only had a brain...

I want more Farscape.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It's like when people realize that shrift and nestra are the same person.

Yup. Like Auburn, Not Henna. That really confused me for a while.

The Danvers thing confused me because she had a Danvers LJ, then she went fl-only, and now she's deleted it. Dunno why. Ah, well, so long as I get the fic, I don't care.

Betsy, Danvers is the one who wrote that very fun Vala/Daniel last week.

I want more Farscape.

Errr, good luck with that.

Hey, what's the title of tonight's SG-1?

JenP - Aug 05, 2005 12:12:31 pm PDT #2802 of 10001

Tonight's SG-1 is The Ties That Bind .

I know, probably don't need to whitefont.
