Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

the preceeding paragraph makes no sense unless you've seen the movie, so apologies if you haven't.

But so incredibly snerk-worthy if you have. Heh.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

WTF? It's 8pm! Where is SG1? It wasn't here yesterday at 8pm and I thought, well, maybe it's on every day except Mondays at 8pm.

But no.

Frakking She Spies.

She Spies!!!! I mean, I'm all yay for whatchamacallim, bloke who was in Angel and Buffy and Firefly's pilot episode. Yay for Whedon actors getting other gigs. But where the frigging hell is my SciFi fix? You bastards? Just as we were edging towards a dash of Rodney and John!!!!

t outraged

Doctor Weir not so much looking like the Doctor Weir from Atlantis in the episode last week, incidentally.

For whatever reason they cast another actress as Weir. I'm not really thrilled with Atlantis Weir.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I finally read that NYT article on BSG, and I have to say, I do love:

''I just had such great respect for him up there,'' he told me. ''I realized I was no longer thinking as the idealist. I could respect somebody else's vision for something, even something I had fallen in love with.'' He said it was sort of like falling in love with another man's wife. ''Eventually you had to realize she's married. And not to me.''

coming from Richard Hatch, as he let go of his bulldogged vision of how to get BSG back onscreen, watching Ron Moore talk about what he was going to do.

Looks like lots of people are tuning in to SciFi Fridays: [link]

It's a response I wrote on another website to someone talking about one of those Jumbotron kiss cams at an NHL game years ago. They showed several couples kissing, then cut to Jeremy Roenick and Mark Recchi sitting on the player's bench. Who then obliged.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, Vonnie, that's hilarious. Kids crack me up.

Heeeee. That's awesome. I loved those episodes.

Oh, also, I watch BSG now, so hi.

I would have loved to seen that.

They need to wire Roenick's jaw shut again.

Oh, and I wrote a giant LJ post about BSG, if people are interested. I watched the entire first season in 11.5 hours. It was fun. Things blew up.
