Perhaps the Cylons in S2 will have been mysteriously upgraded.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Huh. Daniel just died (Meridian-style), and I actually teared up a bit. I've seen those scenes so many times in so many vids, not to mention the ep a couple of times, I'm surprised. Maybe I'm just in one of those moods. Janet's "Colonel?" really is sort of gut wrenching. Aw. Janet. So sad.
In SG1, we've just had Anubis & his homies attacking the earth, only to be foiled by last-minute Attack Of The Ancient Jellyfish, curtesy of Jack. Who is now stuck in a glassy/icey coffin thing in the Antarctic.
Someone please tell me that they're going to discover Atlantis soon, and that there will be some McKay and Shepherd in my foreseeable future? And that Jack isn't stuck in a coffin forever?
Apparently, instead of the brake lever, these taillights are connected to the having-sex-in-a-sitting-position lever. Presumably they glow for other sex positions, or at other times, but AFAIK we don't know beyond two instances of the same position.
I sooooo want there to be a flashback to the original creation of Cylons with the responsible scientist being played by Bai Ling.
Someone please tell me that they're going to discover Atlantis soon, and that there will be some McKay and Shepherd in my foreseeable future? And that Jack isn't stuck in a coffin forever?
Fear not, Fay, all will be revealed. New Order, and then The Rising, follow on immediately after that episode (Lost City), and you get to meet Shep and Rodney and all.
Betsy, Vala was lying: she never slept with Daniel. She's a former Goa'uld host out for her own business (duh), and tried to steal the Prometheus. Daniel foiled her, but there was much farce. She beat him up and offered to kiss it better, that kind of thing.
I enjoyed the hell out of SG-1, but I rather wish I'd watched in the reverse order of how I watched, which was SG-1, SGA, BSG. Dark to light would have been more fun.
I'm hoping the meta on SG-1 will lighten up soon, as the characters and situations solidify. I like Mitchell so far, but there's not much too him. However I'm convinced Jack set him up on purpose, and I'm loving the not-so-very-rapport with Teal'c. The smile on T's face was priceless.
Can't wait for Friday!
My friend Heuradys made a Vala vid: Whatever LolaVala Wants, which if possible you should download, watch and compliment her on ASAP:
::peeking through my hands so as not to spoil myself for BSG::
I plan on watching the whole first season and catch up on season two asap.
Teal'c is the new D'Argo.
that is so what i was coming here to say...
I adored the meta in this ep if only because we're just setting up the new team. as the season wears on, i'm hoping they won't rely so heavily on it. though this is SG1...
I have a feeling the meta will be drastically reduced going forward. I just think, I mean, they sort of had to do it a bit in the first ep. I'd have found it odd if they hadn't, and I doubt I could've resisted if I'd been a writer. I also found it all funny. If it were to keep up at that pace in the next eps, though, that'd be too much.
Hi Suela! Are you being happy?
Greensilver did a very funny photoessay/summary of the SG-1 episode this week: [link]
