Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Oh, OK, I saw that one. I thought there was supposed to be another one that came out at the same time as the other 2.

OMG the SG:A one was hysterical! Love it. Did anyone else think that Rodney's "date" looked an awful lot like Scully?? With that and the Skin-man it's like XF all over again!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Have these trailers made it onto the airwaves yet?

eta: I see they have. No need to whitefont, people!

Arby, I totally thought it looked like Scully. Very odd.

Oh, holy cow.

Feldman's gone and posted pictures of her Farscape finger puppets: [link]

Not for those on dialup.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OK, the BSG preview (not the commercial promo, but the one with the interviews) is disturbing me:

Unspoiled spec based on the preview: Grace Park is hinting that the theme of "birth" is more widespread and doing the wink/nugde thing about how Six isn't the only one Baltar has slept with. Are they making STARBUCK fucking pregnant? Because that's just wrong like the wrongest thing in wrongonia.

Do you imagine she'd go to term? Because getting pregnant doesn't bother me -- turning every single woman into a Madonna does.

I will offer to bear Ron Moore's children if a character on BSG has an abortion.

Yes, I'm fully aware of the irony there. *g*

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'd be a bit surprised if they allowed abortions, given the state of the human race. A scene/discussion/plotline about her having more value as a pilot than the child would (by virtue of its existence) to maximizing the population survival rate.

Well, I figure if Starbuck wants an abortion, Starbuck obtains one. But unless they're okay with sending pregnant women into firefights, they're losing their best fighter pilot for months.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Right. But I would want them to address that she's getting an exception, rather than it being a readily available procedure.
