Er. And I'll stop now before I descend into an impromptu Arabic lesson.

Em, please to not. I'd appreciate all the help I can get. I haven't really put any thought into getting organised or anything. I sort of booked on an impulse, accidentally on purpose. I think I'll have to invest in a guidebook sometime soon.

If I do manage to get to Cairo, are there any treats you'd like that you can't get over there?

OK, I just saw my first picture of David Tennant, the New Doctor Who.

He's what, 15 years old?

Art Crawl!!!

I know! And yet, he's in his 30s.

Well, possibly 30.

Hellbound Equal-Opportunity Nookie Hog

Well, possibly 30.

34. And the youngest actor ever cast for that role.

Art Crawl!!!

Huh, so it's a Groundhog's Day/Pocket of Time scenario.

And Clark must be ditching school.

Again.

And I hope I didn't frell my Lost/Alias tape -- I accidentally changed the channel -- just for a second from 3 to 4. I hate when stuff like that happens.

Art Crawl!!!

The Lex/Lionel storyline was much more fun. The bondage, the torture, the chase throught the forest.

Somewhere back in the mists of time, I put on my Netflix list a Farscape DVD. I now have no idea why. It contains "Crichton Kicks" and "What Was Lost" parts I and II. Could someone either tell me what they remember about these episodes and why I might have found them significant or point me at a good episode guide?

There must have been a reason, you know?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hot sex with an attractive bisexual, a relationship, employers who are definitely not evil AND who have an actual building in which you can work

Um. Actually, we're pretty good. Well, there are a couple of DVDs I wish I'd brought over, but it'll wait until the next time I'm in the UK. Bless you for asking, though!

If I only had a brain...

Emily, I'm sorry to say that "Crichton Kicks" will make no sense whatever as your first Farscape. It's the opener for Season 4, and it assumes you know a LOT of backstory.

Oh, it's not my first Farscape. Pshaw! You insult my old-schoolness! But I think I got lax about watching Season 4, so I may or may not have seen these episodes.
