Somewhere back in the mists of time, I put on my Netflix list a Farscape DVD. I now have no idea why. It contains "Crichton Kicks" and "What Was Lost" parts I and II. Could someone either tell me what they remember about these episodes and why I might have found them significant or point me at a good episode guide?

There must have been a reason, you know?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

If I do manage to get to Cairo, are there any treats you'd like that you can't get over there?

Hot sex with an attractive bisexual, a relationship, employers who are definitely not evil AND who have an actual building in which you can work

Um. Actually, we're pretty good. Well, there are a couple of DVDs I wish I'd brought over, but it'll wait until the next time I'm in the UK. Bless you for asking, though!

If I only had a brain...

Emily, I'm sorry to say that "Crichton Kicks" will make no sense whatever as your first Farscape. It's the opener for Season 4, and it assumes you know a LOT of backstory.

Oh, it's not my first Farscape. Pshaw! You insult my old-schoolness! But I think I got lax about watching Season 4, so I may or may not have seen these episodes.

Wow. Y'all are still chatting? It's 5.57am here. Geography, eh?

Also? Slut!

Fay, you slut!

Emily, as Betsy says, it's the first eps of S4. So, kinda wacky. But watchable. If wacky.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

The Lex/Lionel storyline was much more fun. The bondage, the torture, the chase throught the forest.

For some reason I couldn't help laughing at parts of that storyline. First when Jason just whips out the dart gun and shoots Lex just seemed so incredibly random that I couldn't help but laugh. And then the chase in the forest, starting with the looks on Lex and Lionel's faces when they spot Jason and then Lex chasing Jason with the big stick. It just seemed incredibly humorous to me, and I know that wasn't the intent.

I even had a slight smirk at Lois landing in that ninja crouch. For whatever reason random stuff was just pinging me as incredibly funny tonight.

Although Haley's death was rather gruesome and sobering to me.

But Lost, 2 hour Alias and 90 minute Smallville next week? That's a week's worth of normal TV viewing all in one night. Yeesh.

Huh. Maybe I just wanted to make sure I watched all of Season 4. Now the question is, should I watch it now, or go to bed?

Hi, Fay! My Dad's going to be in Cairo in a couple weeks. I'd tell him to look you up, but I have no idea what you'd say to each other. Not that he's not wonderful -- he's totally wonderful. But, you know. Dad, computer networks guy doing consulting work for a university, meet Fay, invisible Internet friend who teaches primary school and writes fanfuckingtastic sexy fanfiction.

If I only had a brain...

Well, it's tragically Aerin-free and Crichton is insane. Again. So I vote for bedtime.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Watched Smallville.

Buffy's graduation was much better. I mean, Smallville didn't even destroy the school.

Pfft.
