Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Raquel and Kathy!

Rain here, but I guess I should count my blessings...

Yay!!!

Yes, they are!!!!

Also, I'll be seeing you in 23 hours!!!!

!!!!!

Plan on me cooking some dinner for you and SA, unless you guys want to go out. I figured we could get sushi Friday or Saturday night (though we might have to treat SA, b/c she's a poor college student, but fortunately sushi is cheap).

Help! Buffistas! What is a Jewish "Shiva" and how does one dress for it?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Shiva is mourning, essentially. Dress nicely and in dark colors, not flashy.

I have another question, this time for the whole hivemind. Is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame worth going to if you only have a couple of hours and then have a long drive?

I liked the Rock Hall when I went, but that was right after it opened, and not all the exhibits were ready, so it probably took less time than it would now.

Which was a vague answer, but -- I liked the Rock Hall.

The drive is super easy. I have been known to make it in 3 1/2 hours, though I don't recommend it. But 4-4 1/2 hours -- no problem.

Cool. I will probably have to stop a time or two to strech (stoopid PT rules), but I can be there right when it opens at 10:00, spend an hour or so and still be there by 4:00 or 4:30.
