'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Well, I think the race issue points more towards the lack of media attention, myself.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

They don't have to provide futile care if the person wanting it can't pay for it.

Could she have paid for it? I haven't seen either way.

Well, I think the race issue points more towards the lack of media attention, myself.

I agree. Here's this white woman, who - let's not forget - brought her current situation on herself - has all these groups fighting for her and praying for her to continue "living". Yet, I have yet to find reporting of any groups fighting to keep this 5 month old boy alive.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So I think I will root for the team with the most intricate hairdos instead.

Too late, Cincinnati's gone, too.

I'm looking to cancel one of my credit cards and get one with rewards.

I got a United miles card a year and a half ago, and I've already managed to accumulate enough miles to pay for my ticket to NOLA.

Gus is tallest. Who's second-tallest? Is it 6' 3" me? I was thinking there was someone else taller than me besides Gus.

Although he's not officially a Buffista, Brendon taller than you, Tom.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Here's a Chronicle story about the issue:

[link]

It talks a little more about the background behind the law and behind that specific case.

On the credit card rewards front, I have a Capital One preferred something or other that gives me rewards. The thing I like about it is that, in addition to standard rewards that most cards give, I can also get things like a reduction in my interest rate. Or a payment towards my outstanding balance.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

RE: The Texas Law and the big steaming pile of crap the congress passed.

I pretty much have Jon Stewart's reaction- screaming at the top of my lungs.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I did a little work venting to someone who is nice here. They were completely understanding. They are being pulled in a million directions doing stuff that is in no way their job, so they get it.
