It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Night, Jen!

August 14. So you still have enough time for everything, right? Sorry about your family being annoying. Families sometimes seem to be unable not to do that, like it's part of the definition or something.

As for me, I'm OK, thanks. One of my roommates got married a couple of weeks ago (and she's still shining all over the place when I get to see her), and we hadn't found a new one to replace her yet. The semester is a bit crazy - which it always is, indeed it should be part of the definition - and it's Purim in a couple of days, one of the nicest Jewish holidays. All the children outside are in costumes.

SLEEP TIGHT, RIO! BEEP!

Nilly, Purim always seems like so much fun.

Are you ready to be strong?

I love Purim.

We have enough time, but just enough. There are so many little things to organize. It makes my head swim.

OK, bed for real this time. Goodnight!

Purim is so much fun. It can be really serious, too - it's about a serious topic, with serious thoughts and the like, but it's all coated in lots of fun. The combination is what makes it best, in my opinion. Oh, and the cookies.

How are you doing, Trudy? Are you back home yet or still on vacation?

I'm still in Salt Lake City with Amy P and Kenny and the DH and the kitties and the birdies. I went to the Aviary today and wrote about it in Bitches. It was amazing. I met a Bald Eagle, Nilly -- it was roughly the size of you.

Oh, say hi to amy for me, please?

You went to the aviary with Kenny? Lucky you. And, um, I bet my shoe size was still larger that that of the eagle.

Our wings are not tired

Hi Nilly!

I'm such a geek. I'm posting from my sofa right now on my brand new Mini Mac. I have no willpower.

The eagle's wingspan is larger than if I stretch my arms out. By two or three feet. And she can exert a thousand pounds of pressure per inch with her talons.

She's sitting there on an arm a few feet away from me because she feels like it. So hugely powerful -- its staggering.

Hi, ND! I don't think I even got to congratulate you on your move to the new apartment, so I do now!

Trudy, that's amazing.

I'd love to stay and post some more, but I have to finish preparing a lesson for soon, so no more play for me. Night, night-shift!
