Timelies all!
Congrats to Raquel and family!
G's aunt and uncle were in town last night, so we went out to dinner with them, my FIL, G's cousin and the cousin's fiancee. Had some yummy Indian food on 8th street.
Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Steph, I have some tamarind balls that ita's mom bought that I will share when I get there.
ita, the kind we bought today was only tamarind and sugar, but I haven't tried them yet. I bought two bags, one for me and one for you, and then told Aurelia that if they are good, she will have to go back every other week.

Congratulations, Raquel & family!
I survived the family reunion. Actually, I enjoyed the hell out of it and marvel at the people I get to call relatives. This crew? Makes insanely incredible kids.
And it looks like I may do it again in August. Another cousin is getting married, according to her parents, who drove 16 hours down to spend a mere 36 hours with us as a complete surprise (they are farmers, it is spring planting.) Of course, last time I tried to make a wedding on the farm, I never got out of town. I may see if my aunt&uncle are willing to drive me from Minneapolis so I can avoid the dreaded O'Hare.

he was talking about Sean Connery and how Sean is like 6'5" or so IRL. The man does not seem that big. Sean, I mean.
Connery's not that tall, Juliana. Just over 6', maybe 6'2". My dad knew him when they were younger.
