I had such a lovely night last night - went home watched DVRd shows (Ellen, TDS, SNL), started watching an old western (Last Train from Gun Hill), moved a rug, finished a book, slept well.

Woke up today with crazy head pain behind my eye down to my top molars. I assume it is sinus pressure gone crazy and took some OTC meds, but it hasn't ceased yet.

I blame the air pressure and the cold front moving this way. ass weather bitches.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I admit that I'd have been entranced by the idea of a body thing, but luckily lived in the tropics, third world to boot, and so it was never possible.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm all sorts of disappointed in one of my favorite fanfic authors.

Kathy, she might have revised her opinion of "low-hanging fruit" once she'd gotten a few rejection letters. I've seen it happen before with excellent fic authors.

I blame the air pressure and the cold front moving this way. ass weather bitches.

This time of year, the weather in Texas is yo-yo-ing like a...yo-yo, so I'm spending two out of every three days wondering if an ice pick would help or hurt.

Art Crawl!!!

On 24: I thought that Dinah may have been left for dead, but that doesn't mean she is dead and that CTU is probably not too far behind.

And is her name really, Dinah ?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Here's my guess on the two mysteries of 24, why Dinah is not "dead" and Marwan needs Behrooz-- the same reason CTU needed Behrooz, to make Dinah do what he wants. She can very well return to CTU with the exact same story (I killed my captors!) for the very same purpose (or just strapped to a bomb, whatever).

What is even happening?

sumi, I don't know how they spell her name. She pronounces it the same as the main character in The Red Tent, and that's how it's spelled in The Red Tent, so I just went with it.

Dana, my mother called from TX yeterday to tell me it was 80 and beautiful. Our highs are still in the 40s. SO NOT NICE, MOTHER. Still, I told her it was ok, as she had to live in TX so neener neener neener. NOt much of a punch since she hates NYC. Next call I will taunt her with allergies.
