You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We're watching the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame AIFG. I haven't liked a lot of earlier ones because I'm not a big awards show fan, but now TiVo lets us fast forward through the dull or cheesy parts so it's really fun to watch. Chrissie Hynde was wonderful and now, after an AMAZING speech by Bruce Springsteen, U2 is kicking ass.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sorry I am missing that, Robin. I will have to remember to see if it will be reshown.

Plei, from way earlier, I take it back, and I hope Princess Ticky Box takes exactly as much time as she and you need.

It's so quiet.

Well, here's a belated wave back to Nilly from this morning - I left right after I posted. waves

Wish I were sleepy.

Hey, lookie there. Hi, ND and Sean.

Anything you're liking from last week's TV selections, ND? You met up with JohnSweden (I can't I remember how to shorthand that) in Toronto at some point?

(OK, kind of slow on the uptake, I was.)

I only got to see him once, the first night I got in, and then I was totally swamped with the conference. It was great to see him.

So far I've watched the 90 minute SG-1 from over a week ago.

Nice that you got that in, in any case. The conference was good?

Ah, yeah. Threads. I liked it, even though there were some odd choices. But I am not hard to please SG-1-wise.

The conference was excellent. I've been stepped up and given more responsibility within the organization and it looks like I'm being groomed for an even bigger leadership role.

I also got an amazing compliment and affirmation from one of the biggest sound designers on the planet so that was pretty amazing as well.
