Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Not it.

Also, it's really warm today. It's been really warm each afternoon (while still frosty in the mornings). Can whoever's bogarting the winter please give some back to us? Thanks!

Totally. The sky is even starting to get this hazy brown hue around the edges. I can cope with that in August, but in February it just Ain't Right.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Not it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Not it.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My being pregnant would restart the religion discussion, since it would be a genuine miracle.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sorry -- wrong game.

Never mind.

What is even happening?

See, this is why I could never be a religious person. Because sometimes I honestly do think I'm better than the other person. And yes, I judge them internally, and I'll usually do my best not to make them feel like a lesser person, but yeah. I do judge, and I don't see how I could make myself stop doing that.
It's about the journey I think, Alibelle. I certainly still judge, and that includes making judgments about people I shouldn't. It's not like you're supposed to throw your good sense, compassion, or discernment out the window. I think where you don't judge (er...wrt my own understanding of my own faith so the "you" there should read "one") is with regard to the state of another person's soul, and that's what ticks me off about that website (although to be clear, I am guilty of this myself, as well). One of the things. How long ya got?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Totally it.

Not JZ, though.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Ginger, I said someting similar once, to the lab techs who were about to take my x-ray, and who didn't want to believe me about the whole, "I swear I am not pregnant! I'm sixteen! Eww!" thing.

Unfortunately, that gave them pause, and they were all, "So there is a possibility you might be pregnant?"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Alibelle, you missed JZ in Bitches talking about how she wished you'd done her junkie makeup for her acting gig at Stanford Medical School being a model patient.
