Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From Wired:

Safe but Sorry
Motor vehicle officials told Heidi Brown she could park her new scooter outside the vehicle registration office while she waited for her license plates. Then the army blew it up. Officials in Ipswich, England, confirmed they evacuated surrounding office buildings and closed off three roads before destroying the moped in a controlled explosion -- locals had "raised concerns" it could be a bomb. "The moped was chained to the perimeter fence outside the building," said a Suffolk police representative. "We weren't able to identify whose vehicle it was because there were no license plates on it." If she'd only had those plates on.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

PMM, how far along are you?

35 weeks. My actual due date is a little under 5 weeks away, but I've been told I probably won't be allowed to go that long.

Swouncing

Is it OK to ask why they think you wouldn't be allowed?

In any case, health and calmness and all good vibes to you and your DH.

I keep having to send work e-mail with information regarding a thing what has the acronym PMS. Of course, I snicker, for I am twelve.

Same basic thing as Susan had last year.

Pregnancy has been messing up my blood pressure, and they don't want it to turn into full pre-eclampsia. The BP has been mainly stable with medication, but the protein spill levels have been creeping up, so it remains a risk. As the only cure/stop for the pregnancy related blood pressure thing is delivery, they consider inducing me when I hit term (which is technically 37 weeks, though like me, they'd prefer at least 38) safer than going the full 40.
