OF COURSE pretty too! have fun at the spa. After lamenting the massage need yesterday, I booked myself for 3 spa treatments Monday week.

Ooooo...perfect!

I'm so excited about the spa. Three glorious hours of pampering. It doesn't get much better than that.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I am feeling the complete lack of Irish coffee and Guinness in my life right now. And I'm putting off the corned beef and cabbage until Saturday so I can go to dinner with a friend who is in town tonight. But I managed to find something green to wear, so there's that.

Yesterday day and night were of equal length in Houston, but night was still longer than day in Chicago. Today the day will be a minute longer than the night in Chicago.

Vernal equinox is in three days. A year or so ago I explained why the vernal equinox was not when the day was the same length as the night. Can anyong explain to the class why this is so?

I think that it's not really the second half of March, but instead we're stuck in some Twilight Zone reality where it will forever be February.

If it's any consolation, the rain that we're gonna get the next two days will make the snow go away.

Wow. We were just talking about the Witch World series, and I was mentioning how I'd thought Andre Norton was a man for years.

I wish there were any chance I'd post with Raquel because I bought some can of peas baked in oil or something at the Greek store, and I'm not entirely sure what to do with it.

(waves at Jesse from 180 degrees around the clock face) I haven't a clue either. I'm still experimenting with storebought Greek food. Sounds like some form of mese, so probably not intended to be combined with anything, just eaten as-is.
